James Siciliano has spent his career asking better questions—and helping brands and agencies find smarter answers.

With more than 30 years in advertising media strategy and analytics, James has worked at some of the industry’s most respected agencies, helping clients rethink how they target, engage, and grow their audiences. From his early days at JWT Detroit to leadership roles at Doner, The Mars Agency, and Daniel Brian Advertising, James has remained focused on one thing: building media strategies that actually work.

Long before “programmatic” was industry shorthand, James was leveraging lifestyle, lifestage, and behavioral data to connect brands with real people—not just impressions. He championed qualitative insights when others were chasing gross rating points. And he believed then—as he does now—that great media strategy requires integration, precision, and emotional intelligence.

In 2018, James took that belief a step further by partnering with iMotions, a Boston-based biometric analytics firm, to explore how neuroscience and emotional tracking could reshape how advertising is measured. Using tools like eye-tracking and facial coding, he tested how content really lands—with the heart, not just the head.
