From my early days at JWT Detroit to leadership roles at firms like Doner, The Mars Agency, and Daniel Brian Advertising, I’ve remained focused on one thing: building media strategies that actually work.
Long before “programmatic” was a thing, I was leveraging lifestyle, lifestage, and behavioral data to connect brands with real people—not just impressions. I pushed for qualitative insights when everyone else was chasing gross rating points. And I believed then—as I do now—that great media strategy requires integration, precision, and emotional intelligence. In 2018, I took that belief a step further, collaborating with iMotions, a Boston-based biometric analytics firm, to explore how neuroscience and emotional tracking could reshape the way we measure advertising effectiveness. Together, we applied tools like eye-tracking and facial coding to test how content really lands—with the heart, not just the head.
